Self-portraits that combine the planned and direct photographic image with the wild physicality of painting, with elements that seem haphazard and random but at the same time firm and decisive. Similarly, the contrast between the two disciplines in dialogue with each other is achieved through the black-and-white base and the clash produced by a solid colour that unequivocally defines and dresses the scene.

In this way, the author herself is represented in an intimate project involving a personal search, in which she covers, uncovers, recovers and rediscovers herself. Just as we do in public, just as we do when we have to play a role, or when we want to escape or protect ourselves and hide behind a mask. In the same way, these images are veiled, unveiled and revealed through painting.

Autorretratos que combinan la imagen fotográfica, pensada y directa, con la materialidad de la pintura, salvaje, con trazos aventurados y fortuitos pero a la vez firmes y decisivos. De igual modo, el contraste entre ambas disciplinas dialogantes se consigue con el blanco y negro de base y el choque producido por un color sólido que sentencia y viste sin titubeos la escena.

Así aparece representada la propia autora en un proyecto íntimo, de búsqueda personal, en el que se cubre, destapa, recubre y redescubre a sí misma. Del mismo modo que lo hacemos en público, del mismo modo cuando nos toca jugar un rol, o cuando queremos huir o protegernos y nos mascaramos. De igual forma se velan, revelan y desvelan estas imágenes mediante la pintura.
